The heart of the D-Star unit is a flexible satellite internet modem and IP router which can be configured to provide a number of different data rates, VPN access, IP addresses and many other internet services. The system will support numerous connections of either PCs or Apple MACs per terminal.

D-Star Dedicated
D-Star Dedicated terminals provide the same technology, for the same applications as described above, except the bandwidth is totally dedicated and non-contended, ie contention ratio 1:1, for the purpose of the link. This service provides high data-rate bandwidth, suitable for Broadcast, media, Video IP streaming applications
